Our Story

The name Local No. 7 comes from the deep history and unique geography of Tucker. Tucker sits seven miles from Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Decatur, Chamblee, Doraville and Lilburn. At one point, the town had seven churches and seven high schools within a seven-mile radius. Even Tucker's layout dates back to 1907.

With so much meaning tied to the number seven, the name felt inevitable. And what pairs better with the number seven than whiskey? Our bar features a wide selection of whiskeys alongside classic cocktails and cold beers, all meant to complement our handcrafted burgers and comfort-driven menu.

The word Local honors the railroad that runs just steps from our door, a reminder of the town's past and its connection to the people who helped shape it. Local No. 7 was built to be family friendly during the day while offering a lively, welcoming bar scene at night.
